I deleted some space cadet pinball files from windows XP now I’m getting a Windows file protection message?
The message says some of my files have been replaced by unrecognized versions and I need to reinstall them with the Service Pack 3 disc, which I’ve never had (I only have the service pack 2 disc). Is it safe to disregard this message?
You can upgrade to service pack 3 at no charge at Microsoft Download Center..there is probably a chance you deleted a program file by accident and not the pinball files…when i delete anything i keep it in the recycle bin for about 5 days just to make sure everything is still working okay…if everything is working fine…then i delete……
